Chuck Miller will be a guest lecturer at Old Dominion University on January 28, 2010. He will be discussing “The Anatomy of a Green Home” what it means to be green, what it takes to build green. Students will not only be present in a face-to-face setting, but 55 more will be attending via satellite and video streaming from across the country and even in ships in the Middle East. This is the second time Chuck has been a guest speaker.

The case study that Chuck and Dr. Michael J. Seiler (Professor and Robert M. Stanton Chair of Real Estate and Economic Development at ODU) wrote has been reviewed and is almost ready to be published in a Monograph on Green Building and Sustainable Real Estate . The case describes ODU’s decision to rebuild the university president’s house and to what extent the house should be green.
